I don't think it's fair that 4 adults and 4 children (at least) and probably more can stay in a room and pay the same as 2 people do. There should be a better check on who is staying and how many in a room. I would feel very comfortable in saying people came in and ate breakfast who did not stay there as I saw a man come in, eat, and leave. There was no one to keep make sure of safety. The pool area was full of children roughhousing and the hot tub was full. So the amount of wet dust and bits of trash made one think it was not as clean as it should be. The floors were mopped but were concerning as they as obviously not swept before the wet mop is used. No one else could enjoy the lobby as it was monopolized most of the night. On Saturday the lobby was obnoxiously filled with unruly children running around, screaming, throwing torn cups, paper, etc while parents zoned out. First, the rooms are large and I would bet there were more than 4 adults and 4 children to a room, a lot more. I have never been to a Great Wolf lodge but I imagine this is what one is like. I would NOT recommend going on a weekend if your plans allow flexibility. The room was quiet and beds were comfortable. The linens smelled of sweat and were changed. The bed quilt had 2 noticeable yellow stains and was discarded. Every pillowcase had some kind of marking like mascara or a colored stain. the ladies were great at serving and replenishing. the eggs were good even though powdered or pre-mixed/pourable.
